The Dadeville City Council in Alabama is considering outlawing short shorts and mini-skirts. This accompanies the ban proposed by Frank Goodman (City Councilman) on saggy pants.

Goodman and Stephanie Kelley advised it is a matter of respect. “Who is going to respect you if you don’t respect yourself?” said Goodman last month during the meeting.

Kelley said during a council meeting that the concern should be for everyone, not just men “my concern is it should be for everybody, I think for the girls, with these shorts up so high looking like under garments and dresses so short, I don’t want us to be showing favoritism.”

What do you think? Should the government tell people how to dress? Share your comments below!
