None of us have static characteristics. We’re not fixed – we evolve, our brains change, our social environments change, and our relationships are dynamic. Everything about us is changing; it doesn’t make sense to think about personality as a fixed entity.

Throughout life, there are social and environmental experiences that mold you into the person you are today. From who you associate yourself with and the environment you expose yourself to.

Personality traits are distinguishing qualities or characteristics that are the embodiment of an individual.  They are your habitual patterns of behavior, temperament and emotion.

There is power in repetition and the only way it can be effective is to embrace this type of mentality and make it a part of who you are and what you will become.

These are some characteristics of successful people.

A Need to Compete: If you do not have the need to compete, this means you are content with yourself at your current state of being average, with no desire to progress or advance.

A Passion for Improvement: Success is a process. Like any process, it doesn’t start perfect, it is the passion for improvement that leads to the desired end result.

Obsessive Attention to Detail: How will you improve if you don’t know what to improve? If you pay attention to detail you will know exactly what to do, or how to go about it.

Keeping an Inventory of Accomplishment: Doing this will help keep you on track and motivated by displaying your accomplishments and reminding yourself that the goals you set out to achieve will come through perseverance.
