The snooze button is a force of habit in the morning when you do not want to get out of bed or want to get an extra sleep thinking you will be more energized when you finally wake up. The fact is that snoozing does not give you any more energy and takes away from the fulfillment you get throughout the day.

Every time you hit the snooze button, you are subconsciously telling yourself that you have nothing to look forward to and have no sense of purpose, thus making you feel depressed. A book written by Hal Elrod, The Miracle Morning, explains that every time you hit the snooze button, you are implicitly saying that you don’t want to wake up to your life.
