This day encourages dog ownership of all breeds, promotes happiness and opportunities for all our furry friends to be safe and free from abuse. Dogs give us their never-dying love and provide us with friendship and loyalty. They even provide assistance to those who need it and help us keep us safe.

Today is the day to go find a dog (please adopt!) and give him/her your love and care. Everyday should be treated like today. Everyday we should try to help, one way or another these loving animals.
